my tv is suddenly darker on the right side as if a light has gone out. is this something I can repair myself?

Unfortunately not. That is most likely a defective panel issue. We have just learned ourselves how to repair panels with that symptom as opposed to replacing the panel. I can assure you that it is not an easy fix. There are temoprary fixes on youtube but they usually only last a month or two. We are in the process of making the repair affordable. Right now we charge $300 to fix it.
Samsung my daughter hit my tv with her sippy cup uand it cracked is there a way i can fix it.
Cracked panels are considered unrepairable because the cost of a new panel usually exceeds the cost of a new TV.
